"Final Encore" is the title for art installation projects which is curated by Sogol Kashani & Joubeen Mireskandari. Back in 2012 the artist couple Sogol Kashani and Joubeen Mireskandari were moving from their mid-century Tehran dwelling. The house was going to be demolished for new high-rise apartments, a common scene in Tehran these days as new construction horridly altering the city. In the name of (so called) progress and modernization changes happens so quickly that older ideas and objects do not have the strength to cope with and so they fall behind. These weren't given the time to be restored or at least be honored. The couple decided to put their house on a stage and have it perform for the last time by a group of artist to memorialize it. An old house was the subject of Final Encore I. For more information and images please check https://www.facebook.com/finalencoretehran
