Quartet Diminished (L to R: Rouzbeh Fadavi – Soheil Peyghambari – Ehsan Sadigh – Mazyar Younesi) is an Iranian contemporary music band. This shooting session is set for the band photo portrait which is going to be featured in the band upcoming album sleeve jacket.
Joubeen Mireskandari comes from Iran to stay in Paris, at the Cite Internationale des Arts, while he works on a research and creation project lasting three to six months. Discover the artist in residence during autumn 2019, through some of his works.

Fédérant une communauté de photographes multiculturels, l’association Badguir et la plateforme Hans Lucas se font l’écho des plus récentes recherches visuelles qui portent sur la société iranienne contemporaine – un regard renouvelé. Organisée autour de quatre séries photographiques, l’exposition «Regards sur l’Iran» réunit les oeuvres de ces photographes ayant exploré l’Iran à l’occasion de leurs séjours dans le pays, qu’ils le découvrent ou en soit originaires. Tous ont capté et fixé des liens forts avec les espaces publics, qui mettent en lumière une société en pleine mutation. Ils saisissent ainsi la jeunesse qui se rebelle, la vie quotidienne… un ensemble qui donne à voir la société d’un oeil neuf.
